The photo agency that represents Edward Keating, who took photographs of disgraced New York Times reporter Jayson Blair that appeared in Newsweek magazine this week, was actively pitching the photos to other media outlets Wednesday. Contact Press Images said the Keating photos of Blair are a one-week domestic exclusive for Newsweek. After that, they can be resold to other outlets.

Ironically, Keating himself left the Times after editors accused him of staging a September 2002 news photo of a boy holding a toy gun. Keating spoke to The Washington Post about the matter in Wednesday's editions. Keating apparently knew Blair when he worked at the Times, and Blair allowed the photographer to take candid shots of him at his home in Brooklyn on Friday.
